About Plunge
Plunge was formed over four years ago. The idea for the band was started by drummer, Michael Stoudt. Mike met lead singer, Joe Creely, though a mutual guitar player associate. The root of Plunge was planted.
Through research on the internet, the connection to the next founding member of Plunge was unveiled. Greg was located and quickly connected with the band . Plunge was growing.
Six months later (and various guitar and bass players later) Greg reconnected with an awesome bass player that he previously jammed with. Mike Fields was given a tryout with the founding members of Plunge. They clicked and was invited to join the group.
The last missing piece needed to be added. The band decided to run an ad in the paper hoping to find that missing piece: the ultimate lead guitar player. Many people responded to the advertisement. Marty was brought in and he had an awesome audition. He is incredible. Marty was that missing piece.
In April of 2004 Plunge was a reality. Six months later, Plunge hit the club scene in summer of 2004 and has been making the rounds rocking the state of Pennsylvania ever since.
There have been some changes over the past couple of years which have given us a new line-up consisting of Joe Creely on guitar & vocals, Marty Kelly on lead guitar, Steve Rhoades on bass & vocals, Mike Stoudt on drums & vocals.
